We could not find a cook book for a toaster oven in the local Montgomery area. I went online and found this great cook book. It provides great recipe's that you will love.
The breakfast section of this book is inspiring. The downside is no pictures in this book at all.
I am so glad I got it. I love the little tips and suggestions in the book too.
So far all the recipes have turned out really good and were easy to make. This cookbook is great.
The toaster oven experience is very new for me and my family and we never owned one growing up so I am a new user and could use all thehelp I can get. The only problem I have had is trying to figure out how the oven rack should be placed for each recipe so it cooks properly.
So far I have figured it out mostly but it would be easier if the recipessuggested the best oven rack position for cooking. I purchased this with my toaster oven b/c of all the great reviews.
It is wonderful.
I like this book because it gave me some great ideas on what to do with my toaster oven, and there are many different things I can do with it, that I hadn't thought about. We stopped dieting and started eating healthfully, watching portion sizes and eating a variety of foods. You can eat anything you want, within reason. I like it that she shows us what is possible with the toaster oven and how to get the results you want. All in all, a handy little book, and a good resource. It has made me value my new "toy" more than ever. I will probably not make the low fat versions of many of the recipes, since that isn't the way we eat, but there are some terrific ideas in here. The weight comes off if you are intelligent and thoughtful about your choices.
There are some recipes that I will make as is; the main dishes and sides look good to me, and there were several that I thought sounded excellent. We don't eat a lot of desserts, so that section didn't interest me, especially since it was low fat. You don't need to do low fat or low carb or any other low thing out there. I am also buying a cookbook for convecton cooking since my toaster oven has a nice convection feature, and this book really didn't go into that.
not quite what i thought it would be ,, but it will be ok
